Scam Check processes your suspicious message only long enough to analyze it, then discards it forever. We do not ask for, store, sell, or share your personal information — and we have no way to contact you later because we never collect a way to.
Built Around Your Privacy
Zero Data Retention
Submitted content — text, URLs, and screenshots — is processed in server memory and permanently discarded the moment analysis finishes. There is no database of submissions.
No Accounts, No Tracking
You never need an account. We do not use tracking cookies, do not build user profiles, and do not fingerprint your device.
Nothing Shared or Sold
We do not sell, license, or share your submissions with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. Your content is never used for ad targeting.
Ephemeral, By Design
Zero-retention is an architectural choice, not a policy we could forget. There is simply nowhere for your content to be stored.
We Never Collect
- ✓Personal information such as your name, address, phone number, or email
- ✓Submitted message content, links, or screenshots
- ✓Login credentials, passwords, OTPs, or card numbers
- ✓Device identifiers, cookies, or browsing history
- ✓Third-party account access (Google, Facebook, wallet, etc.)
The Only Technical Data
- ·Non-identifying, aggregated request health data (e.g., that a page loaded) used only to keep the service running
- ·Standard Cloudflare edge logs that Cloudflare retains to operate its network — these are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy, not ours, and contain no submitted message content
How To Verify This Yourself
You do not have to take our word for it. You can confirm the zero-retention design by:
- ✓Checking that the page loads over HTTPS with a valid certificate.
- ✓Noting that no login, email, or phone is ever requested at any step.
- ✓On the Contact page, verifying you can reach a real human and that your own messages are not harvested here.
- ✓Watching your browser's network panel to see no analytics/tracking endpoints (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad scripts) are called.
Third-Party Processing Disclosure
To analyze a submission, the text or screenshot may be sent to an AI vision/text model (e.g., Groq or Gemini). These calls are transient inference requests made only to evaluate the content you submit — they are not used to train models, not retained as datasets, and no personal identifiers are attached. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so standard Cloudflare operational logs exist as described above. Beyond these, no personal or submitted data leaves the system.
